Leaving Seisia early, we once again traveled the rough road up to Punsand Bay passing by the Croc Tent. Certainly worth the drive as it is beautiful up there. The campsite is by the beach - the facilities are very basic but adequate and the restaurant is good. Being the end of the season, we had plenty of beachside sites to choose from although there were still quite a number of campers there.

Fabulous campsite right on the beach

It was warm and sunny but very windy. We had to tie everything down. Terry had to rope the awning to the bull-bar on the Triton. The scenery is magnificent and the blue ocean looked very inviting - such a shame you cannot swim in it due to the danger of large salt-water crocs. There is one particular croc who swims the length on the beach every day unless it is stormy! Luckily there is a swimming pool next to the restaurant. There are also cabins which cater for those traveling on the tour buses etc.
